How the company started

Niran Saelee spent the years before 2016 with a canal association in Khlong Sam Wa, redrawing handwritten pump logs into charts a district meeting would actually look at. The association kept the charts. Two factory managers who saw them asked for the same treatment of their waste tallies. The company was registered that year so the work could be invoiced, bound, and filed under a name.

Malai Thongchai joined in 2018 from a supplier desk that watched garment workshops on the eastern side of the city. She brought the habit of reading a wage sheet beside the production count, and of asking which month the line stood down. In 2021 Arthit Wong came from a small bindery in Bueng Kum and took over paper, thread, and the copper corner pieces.

The three of them still share the room on Pracha Uthit Road. Clients are mills, yards, workshops, family companies, district projects, and the occasional funder who wants a packet they can turn in their hands.

What each person holds

Niran trained in geography at Chulalongkorn University and leads the drawing of water, waste, and electricity pages. He is the person who writes the figure list before a chart starts, and who will refuse a slope that depends on a year nobody recorded.

Malai reads wages, hours, and supplier counts. Her credential is the decade on supplier desks before the studio, not a certificate on the wall. She attends field days when the tally keeper is the one who knows the awkward weeks.

Arthit binds. He decides when a signature is ready for thread, how many copies the copper corners can honestly hold, and when a rush meeting needs loose pages instead of a false promise of binding.

How the studio behaves with a client

The first question is who kept the tally. The second is what meeting the pages must survive. Units stay as they were collected. A gap stays visible. The studio does not draft a target the client has not already written down in its own papers.

Briefs are in English. Source documents may be in Thai if someone in the intake can read the difficult lines aloud. Files arrive as spreadsheets, photographs of logbooks, or the paper itself.

The relationship is a commission with a start, a correction pass, and a bindery date. Repeat clients, and there are several along the eastern districts, book the next year when the reporting calendar is known. They are not enrolled in anything. They write again.

Place

Several early briefs were pump logs and flood-day counts from Khlong Sam Wa, and the studio still walks sites in Min Buri, Bueng Kum, Lat Phrao, and Bang Khen when the tally was written there. Visits stay inside Bangkok. Farther out, intake is by telephone and the files come to the table.
