These accounts name the commission and the constraint. The longest one is a rice mill in Min Buri. The shorter notes are from a yard, a workshop supplier, a funder's visit, and a board secretary who sent the colour back.

The uncles remembered the wrong hall.

A family rice mill in Min Buri asked for a brief before a Sunday meeting, held on a Tuesday in the studio instead, about a new dryer. Electricity had always been discussed as one bill for the compound. The mill already kept pencil notes by hall, filled on most wet-season nights and neglected in the dry weeks.

Niran used only the months the notes covered. The drawing showed the drying hall carrying the heavy weeks, which matched the paddy arriving wet and did not match the uncles' memory of the milling line. The family postponed the dryer and repaired the existing fan first. They still argue about the dry weeks, because those notes are thin, and the brief says so on the page.

Siriporn Chalermsri, who called the meeting, later wrote that she had wanted a single yearly total she could memorize. The studio left the partial year partial. She used the partial page in the meeting anyway.

I brought three years of scale tickets and expected a neat decline in residue. Two of the years were mixed totals. They drew only the year that had a real split, and put the other two in a note. My boss was annoyed for a week. The district officer understood the page, which was the point of hiring them.

I could ask a better question. I could not take the packet home as an assurance, and they did not pretend I could.

The first drawings used a deep red for landfill that our directors read as an alarm we had not agreed. I sent it back. They changed the colour and kept the number, and the second sitting was the one I would book again. I wish the colour had been caught before I gathered the board. The telephone call after was plain and quick, which helped.
